General Club Meetings

The club hosts meetings throughout the year on a wide variety of topics. Some events we have had in past include trivia, avalanche awareness, backcountry nutrition, and more! 

These events can be a fun way to get to know more people in the club in a more casual setting while also learning about interesting topics. 

Due to the frequency in which we plan these events we are always looking for new ideas, topics of interest from our members, and volunteers to help plan them! Being part of the Club Meeting Planning Committee is a great way to get familiar with the ins and outs of taking on a more formal volunteer opportunity with the club. Board Meetings

The BOEALPS Executive Board consists of 5 positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Past President. Board members are typically elected in the fall and transitioned into their elected position for the upcoming year. 

The executive board meets on the second Tuesday of every month for a board meeting. Board meeting topics range from event ideas to class updates, basically everything that keeps this community going! All club members are welcome to join any board meeting and the meeting notices/agendas are publicly available on the club calendar. 

The board meeting location varies as it is some times in person and sometimes virtual. If you are trying to find information on a specific board meeting you can check the calendar or reach out to secretary@boealps.org.
